MIAMI, FL – July 13, 2009 – Structured Cable Products, Inc. (“SCP”), a leading global manufacturer and supplier of low voltage wire, cables and accessories, will introduce new products at the upcoming Cedia Expo in Atlanta, GA.
Structured Cable Products new line of residential control cables are manufactured to meet the needs of contractors installing Lutron lighting control systems. The SCP Lutron control cables are engineered to Lutron cable specifications. SCP is announcing the release of three new lines of Lutron control cables. These new SCP cables include the Lutron Pink (SCP Part # LUT-1-PK) for HomeWorks systems, the Lutron White (SCP Part # Lutron-Wh) for HomeWorks systems, and the Lutron Red (SCP Part # Lutron-Red) for Sivoia systems.
SCP is one of the leading manufacturers of CrestronTM system cables. A new addition to the SCP Crest line is the Crest-Digital Media cable (SCP Part# CREST-DM-CBL) for the Crestron DigitalMediaTM system. This cable is manufactured to exacting standards for carrying uncompressed digital HD video/audio for performance with the Crestron DigitalMediaTM system. The CREST-DM-CBL provides under one jacket: (1) Cat5e Shielded (STP) + (1) Cat5e (UTP) + 22/2 stranded shielded w/drain and 18/2 stranded w/overall jacket.
HDMI™ Extender Set (SCP Part # 948) requiring only a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Most previous HDMI extenders required two Cat5e or Cat6 lines. Now after several months of in-field testing, the SCP 948 is ready for release. The SCP 948 provides 1080P video format for transmission distances up to 50 meters over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. The SCP HDMI™ Extender is HDMI v1.3b supported and is HDCP compliant.
SCP 4x4 HDMI™ Routing Matrix Switch (SCP Part # 949) allows up to four HDMI audio/video devices to be independently switched to four HDMI monitors, HDTV’s, or projectors. The four outputs can show the same or different video source simultaneously no matter if the source is HDCP or not. The SCP 949 supports high definition resolutions 1080p, 1080i, 720p and other standard video formats. The SCP 949 has three switching modes: panel button, local IR and RS232. Each port supports HDMI or DVI inputs. The SCP 4x4 HDMI™ Routing Matrix Switch is HDMI v1.3c supported and is HDCP compliant.
SCP is introducing a new line of HDMI cables with an 1800 rotating head. The SCP HDMI Swivel Head Cable line (SCP Part # 947-xx) will come in lengths of 3, 6, 10, and 15 feet. These cables are ideal for tight fitting installations or where flexibility is needed. The 947 cables come with a nylon mesh jacket and fully support HDMI v.13c applications.
