DSL Alarm Panel Filter

The Z-Blocker is a special purpose in-line filter designed to allow the successful operation and improve the performance of Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) and Home Phone Network (HPN) services on lines connected to an Alarm Panel. This model filters the alarm panel and is compatible with RJ-31X through RJ-38X jacks (and equivalent Canadian jacks) supplied by a telephone or alarm services provider. Our in-line filter design electronically isolates the high-speed DSL and HPN data streams from the voice band modem built into the alarm panel. This design effectively blocks the ADSL, HPN and other radio frequencies from interfering with alarm operation. In addition, it allows for the ADSL and HPN connections to continue operating even during the alarm dialing process.
